MMOexp Last Epoch: Weak outside of Reaper Form

The Chthonic Fissure Warlock leveling build delivers an outstanding mix of power, survivability, and speed for Last Epoch players looking to breeze through the campaign and transition smoothly into Monoliths. With cascading damage from Chthonic Fissure and Chaos Bolts, persistent pressure from Spirit Plague and Infernal Shade, and sturdy Ward defenses, the Warlock proves herself as one of the strongest Mastery choices available. This build not only handles enemies with devastating efficiency but also ensures players are well-prepared for the endgame challenges ahead. Having enough cheap Last Epoch gold can help you be prepared for Last Epoch gold any eventuality.

The Lich is one of the most exciting and dangerous Class Mastery options available to the Acolyte in Last Epoch. This mastery gives players the ability to transform into Reaper Form, a powerful state that grants high damage and strong survivability, but constantly drains health. Combined with Death Seal, the build creates a high-risk, high-reward playstyle that can clear maps quickly while maintaining strong sustain. Having enough Last Epoch gold can ensure your endurance. Although leveling as a Lich can feel more challenging than other Acolyte paths, such as the Warlock, the payoff in the endgame is well worth the effort. With the right setup, this build can even surpass the Chthonic Fissure Warlock in speed and efficiency.

Build Overview

The Death Seal Reaper Lich build is focused on combining Reaper Form with Death Seal to maximize damage output while maintaining control of your survivability. The playstyle requires careful timing, since Death Seal dramatically lowers your health when activated, but the resulting bonuses make your character devastatingly powerful.

Pros:

Extremely high damage potential

Great mobility through Reap and Transplant

Excellent survivability while in Reaper Form

Cons:

Weak outside of Reaper Form

Relies heavily on cooldown management

Risky if Reaper Form drops at the wrong time

The build's main loop revolves around entering Reaper Form, using Reap and Transplant to rapidly move between packs, and detonating enemies with Death Seal. While Death Seal is on cooldown, Rip Blood provides consistent damage and sustain, and Bone Curse helps both offense and defense in a wide area thanks to the Signet of Agony node.

Core Skills and Specializations

Reaper Form is the centerpiece of this build, but it does not become available until you have invested 30 points into the Lich passive tree. Before then, you'll rely on other early Acolyte abilities to bridge the gap. Rip Blood, the starting skill, remains useful even later in the game, and Bone Curse and Transplant are unlocked early, making them strong candidates for leveling.

In Rip Blood's skill tree, focus first on nodes like Hemomancer and Arcane Absorption for early power. Sustain comes from Quenching and Mana Feast, while Thirst helps maintain uptime. Later, the Rip Spirit node becomes important for scaling Rip Blood with the rest of the build. Splatter and Eviscerate offer extra area damage, though Eviscerate should be delayed since its higher mana cost can slow down early progress.

Once you unlock Reaper Form, prioritize the Unholy Dominion node so that Reap and Transplant no longer share a cooldown. This significantly increases mobility, allowing you to chain movement abilities and maintain Reaper Form longer by leeching health from enemies. From there, take offensive nodes like Reaper's Curse and Rapid Destruction, then balance your tree with defensive choices such as Mistress of Decay, Soul Shroud, and Vile Shroud. Finish the tree with Death's Door, but only after you have Death Seal and Deadlock active to buy Last Epoch gold ensure the bonus damage works consistently.
